September 23 October 27 November 24 December 3 March 2	1:00 pm Central Time and 6:30 pm Central Time	Sun Safety and Shaded Play This five-part training series equips early childhood professionals with the knowledge and tools to create safer outdoor environments for children. Participants will learn about UV exposure risks, shade effectiveness, outdoor environment assessment, and developmentally appropriate sun safety education. The series concludes with action planning, AAD Shade Structure Grant guidance, and a three-month follow-up to review implementation, update policies, and strengthen practices. All sessions offered at 1:00 PM CT and 6:30 PM CT. You do not have to register for a specific time. Attend the time that works for you. Zoom links are the same for both. To celebrate National Farm to School and Early Care and Education Month, this training will introduce participants to the Harvest of the Month curriculum. They will discover easy, hands on ideas for exploring locally produced items. What's more, information on how to register for the annual Crunch Off event will be shared. Explore the role of immunizations in protecting children's health, and how to share this information with families. Discover how pharmacists can serve as valuable partners in supporting early childhood professionals.
